Swiss-Belboutique Napier, hotel in Napier

Set in Napier, 500 metres from Napier Beach, Swiss-Belboutique Napier offers accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy and spacious. Mini bar was good to have when stumbling in at 1am and feeling peckish lol. The little touches in the bathroom were great too! Separate body wash, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Cotton tips, makeup wipes, they had it all. Great stay all round. Would highly recommend if you want to be close to supermarket and retail stores aren’t too far as well.

I absolutely adore Napier. I travel from Feilding to visit my partner who is a fishermen. I take full advantage of all the amazing activities for my 2yr old daughter to enjoy. From the parks, lookout, visiting the aquarium to even visiting the 6 legged Sheep.

Interesting art deco architecture. The CBD is very walk-able. Good shops and restaurants; we highly recommend Mister D's bistro. Great central location for exploring the Hawke's Bay wine region.

Attended a concert at McLean Park, Napier is so compact it was an easy enough walk. Great eateries, restaurants and wineries. Also some nice stores although some of them were a bit pricey. So many towns and sights are close to Napier and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Warning, you definitely need more than just a couple of days!

Napier is a BIG little town with plenty to see and do and lots of seaside walks and inner cycle pathways to explore. Nicely laid out and good places to eat. The reason why big trucks drive through town centre is baffling as there is a bypass to the port and is noisy and ruins the vibe. The significant gang presence in Napier is concerning, they are everywhere and are rude, aggressive, intimidating and seem to revile in their pathetic existence to annoy others.

We stayed here for the Napier Art Deco festival and the location was perfect with lots of free parking which was a real bonus as the town was very busy and many streets closed for the festival. Wonderful hotel with great staff very helpful and friendly. The room on the 5th floor end of corridor was brilliant with floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides the views were fab - in fact I watched the air display from there and had a closer view than people on the ground! We did not use the restaurant but did have breakfast at the swimming pool cafe opposite which was lovely and the Masonic Hotel which was also great. The location was a few minutes walk from the centre of the town so ideal We would absolutely stay here again but you need to book early for the festival in February - we booked in June the year before!

It's unfortunate that Napier, due to still struggling from the storms last year and the harvest staff requiring lodgings, it is very difficult to get reasonable accomodation. We visited Napier several years ago and absolutely loved it.

All of the staff were so pleasant and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, right up until we checked out. Even the cleaner smiled and acknowledged us as we were leaving our room which is not something you find everywhere. The hotel is in a great location, it was clean and the decor is 👌 I was concerned that it might be cold in the winter being a concrete building but I was wrong. Such a charming place and wonderful experience. We will only stay here when visiting Napier from now on.

I didn't like this hotel.... I LOVED IT!!!! The lady at the front desk was super friendly, and my check-in was nice and quick and not a headache like the other hotels I've stayed at where they asked me a billion questions. I'll definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in napier. My bed was super comfortable, and my room was actually bigger than i expected which was brilliant.

We loved our stay at Rainbow Cottage. Pippa was an excellent host, the house was very clean, beautifully presented and had everything we needed; in fact Pippa provided some much appreciated extras that added even more to our experience. We really enjoyed our walk around Napier and there are plenty of places to enjoy good food. We can highly recommend Rainbow Cottage.
